PET strapping band is a type of polyester strapping formed by extruding and stretching. PET packing strap is the most popular new environment friendly packaging material that replaces steel strips, steel wires, and heavy-duty PP strapping.
The PET packing strap / PET bad produced by our PET strap production line has the features as below:
(1) Strong tensile strength, with both steel strip like tensile strength and impact resistant ductility, ensuring the safe transportation of products.
(2) The elongation rate is small, only one sixth of that of polypropylene tape, and it can maintain tension for a long time.
(3) Strong temperature resistance, melting point of 260 degrees, no deformation when used below 120 degrees.
(4) Good safety, no risk of rusting and contamination of tied objects from steel strips, and a bright and recognizable color.
(5) Good economic benefits, the length of 1 ton of PET strapping is equivalent to the length of 6 tons of steel strip of the same specification, and the unit price per meter is more than 40% lower than that of steel strip, which can reduce packaging costs.
The PET packing strap could be produced with 100% recycled PET bottle flakes.
